The Goliath Group and associates within the organization participate in a multitude of philanthropic causes and projects around the world. Here is a description of some of our initiatives:

Water Filter Social Enterprise - Something we take for granted in North America is clean running water. In many countries safe water is a luxury. We support not just the distribution of this water filter technology (as pictured above), but locals in their countries are being trained for production as a sustainable social enterprise employing other locals.

Journey's of Compassion / Discovery - A JOC or JOD is a week to 2 week long trip to a third-world nation to conduct medical clinics, feeding centres, education, agriculture projects, clean water and much more. What initiatives specifically happen on each journey are dependent upon the host organization of the country and the leadership of Impact Nations which is financially managed and supported by the Goliath Group.

2010 Schedule of Journeys of Compassion / Discovery:

1. Uganda - Medical and Orphanage
2. Philippines - Medical and Clean Water
3. Nicaragua - Medical, Feeding Centres and Agriculture
4. Haiti - Have been feeding 650-750 people since earthquakes in January of 2010
5. Nicaragua Part 2 - Continued with Community Youth Development
6. Burundi / Kenya - Medical, Feeding Centres (Early in 2010, 16 women and their children were freed from prison for selling vegetables without a license to be trained in Naruku Kenya.

Current Local "Impact Projects" - The Goliath Group supports many local community development and humanitarian groups that perform various projects around the city.

Charitable participation is selected firstly through our purpose and passions and secondly, through careful consideration of the right people behind each endeavor.

As one can imagine, here at the Goliath Group we are approached by several charities and philanthropic initiatives that are seeking funding on a consistent basis. Our hearts say that we want to fund it all, but unfortunately we have to make wise decisions based upon current resources.
